How our Workforce Development Training works

We have combined our experience of working directly with children and young people, with our unique approach to prevention to create a training offer that up-skills the ability of children's workforces to develop the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of the children and young people they work with.

We have a range of training options, and we pride ourselves on our collaborative approach to develop workforce development programmes that address your specific needs. By doing this, we ensure that together we achieve the specific mental health outcomes that you require for the children and young people in your setting.

The aim of this training is to leave practitioners equipped with a range of tools, strategies and resources proven to improve mental health in children and young people. By doing this, we aim to help them embed them into their daily practice for a sustainable approach to mental health and wellbeing.

What will the workforce development training cover?

During collaboration, our team of expert consultants will work closely with commissioners and organisations to develop a workforce training programme that fits your requirements. We are firm believers that one size does not fit all and work hard to ensure that we meet your needs.

Depending on your needs, our workforce development training can cover many areas including:

  • Learning, exploring and practising practical strategies that develop the mental health of children and young people
  • Experiencing the benefit of the mental health and wellbeing exercises and tools for themselves so they can reflect on how they can support children and young people
  • Taking away strategies, toolkits and resources that can be used in direct work with the children and young people
