Helping you build staff wellbeing

Workforce Wellbeing Workshop

This positive, empowering session takes a proactive and preventative approach to addressing stress within teaching and school staff. Participants will develop a clear understanding of wellbeing and how to build it in themselves and the team.

Through learning from the field of Positive Psychology, the training allows participants to experience and practise wellbeing interventions that can be applied personally, within a staff team and across the whole school.

What will the workshop cover?

By the end of the workshop your staff will:

  • Develop a shared language and understanding of wellbeing.
  • Explore thinking strategies that impact on stress and wellbeing.
  • Learn and practice effective tools and strategies for wellbeing that are practical and versatile.
  • Learn how to effectively manage stress and cope positively using proven positive psychology techniques.
  • Develop a wellbeing action plan to improve their own wellbeing.

What difference will it make?

  • Have a helpful understanding of stress and have tools to manage stress effectively
  • Know how to challenge negative perspectives that contribute to poor wellbeing
  • Gain understanding of wellbeing and be able to apply techniques to build it in themselves and their team
  • Have planned strategies that are sustainable and can immediately start making a difference to wellbeing levels

Evidence Basis

This workshop draws upon research and evidence from the fields of positive psychology and evidence-based coaching. These approaches have been empirically proven to develop wellbeing and reduce stress. The workshop practically applies evidence which includes ways to cultivate flourishing, positive affect and wellbeing which are combined with cognitive behavioural coaching techniques.
