Theresa is a psychologist who specialises in positive psychology and coaching psychology. She has a real passion for coaching, training and developing positive health and wellbeing for adults and children. With 29 years of experience in education, she is particularly passionate about the wellbeing of students, teachers, staff and parents, focussing on multidimensional and whole-school approaches.
Throughout her career, she has worked with students of all ages, from pre-school to mature students. Working in both further education and neurodiverse schools.
During this time, Theresa has developed and created her own training courses for both staff and children that focus on building resilience, confidence and self-efficacy. Her courses often focus on using physical exercise as she has studied both fitness and nutrition. This allows her to use physical exercise as a unique learning platform to reflect the holistic importance of wellbeing,
Theresa is also vastly experienced as a facilitator and coach in Lego Serious Play for Positive Psychology. These workshops can give teams and individuals an alternative way to explore wellbeing. This is her current area of research.

Passions and interests
Theresa's absolute passion is enhancing the wellbeing of others by enabling them to move beyond functioning to flourishing by using evidence-based methods grounded in Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology. She is very passionate about her research on Lego Serious Play for Positive Psychology in providing an evidence base and she is very excited to integrate this into her future work with Worth-it.
In her spare time, Theresa is a volunteer coach at the National College for Teaching and Leadership for ‘Women Leading in Education'.
