Lorna is a post-graduate qualified Positive Psychology Practioner and Coach with over 20 years’ experience as a teacher, facilitator, university lecturer and youth guide. She also has Masters degrees in both Social Research and Social Anthropology and has worked in education, business, journalism and adventure leadership in the UK, across Europe and in Japan, the US, New Zealand, Canada and Ecuador.
Based in Edinburgh, Lorna supports schools, children and young people’s organisations across Scotland and the North of England.
With post-graduate qualifications in Applied Positive Psychology, Social Research and Social Anthropology, accredited training in Coaching (Association for Coaching), and over twenty years’ experience as a teacher and facilitator working with children, teens and adults, Lorna relishes supporting schools and CYP organisations as a Wellbeing Consultant and Coach at Worth-It. Her current training in Counselling Skills is proving invaluable in working compassionately with teams and young people.

Lorna is passionate about helping people be their best selves and live their best lives. After many years of teaching and facilitating positive growth in children and adults, she strongly believes in the importance of enhancing emotional literacy and agility, and especially in creating a climate where wellbeing is central and mental health is supported.
